Senior Social Media Manager Position
Role Overview
The Social Media Specialist at Entersquare will own the full cycle of social media content creation and management from strategy and ideation through to capture, editing, posting, and performance analysis for up to 4 accounts. This is a highly visible role within our team, serving as both a creative storyteller and a data-driven strategist. Social Strategists combine a deep understanding of social platforms with strong creative instincts, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams and with clients.
Requirements:
4+ years experience in a social media manager or content creator role. A work history of results that speak for themselves.
COMPENSATION
$70,000 annually
Performance Based Bonus
Paid quarterly: Bonus is tied to project outcomes, delivery quality, timelines, business profitability and overall execution.
Client Referral Commission
7% commission on net revenue collected during the first 12 months of any client contract the employee helps acquire or directly supports.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy and Ideation

Every client should feel confident in Entersquare’s abilities to provide a detailed and intentional roadmap to growth for their accounts. All content is created with viral components in mind, delivering the highest quality content we can that is formulated to drive results.
What it will take
Review platform and competitor analysis to inform upcoming content strategies.
Brainstorm, refine and propose content ideas that are aligned with the clients goals and brand voice.
Build strong monthly content calendars in Monday.com and maintain approval workflows.
Stay at least one week ahead in planning and scheduling to ensure consistency.
2. Content Capture
What winning looks like
Content shoots are executed with a social-first mindset, incorporating clear concepts and strategic intent to ensure captured assets are optimized for performance across short-form platforms.
What it will take
Develop capture plans including talent, locations, props, and timelines.
Coordinate and oversee shoots with the Entersquare team or clients.
Ensure raw content aligns with strategic objectives and is optimized for short-form formats.
3. Editing and Production
What winning looks like
All content submitted for approval are visually sharp, emotionally resonant, and strategically aligned with the client’s goals. Projects move efficiently though post with minimal revisions because creative intent and communication are clear from the start.
What it will take
Anticipate client and internal feedback to minimize revision rounds (goal of 1-2 revisions).
Follow approved workflow and organized file system.
Communicate progress proactively. Flag issues early and keep team and leaders informed.
4. Publishing and Distribution
What winning looks like
All approved content is seamlessly scheduled through Metricool or published natively, with every post fully optimized and error-free. This includes proper tagging, audio attribution, caption formatting, collaboration requests, and publishing at the optimal day and time to maximize performance.
What it will take
Schedule content through Metricool and manage manual posting when required
Write engaging captions tailored to each platform and brand voice.
Collaborate with clients on caption approvals when needed.
Maintain accurate account access and posting workflows across devices.
5. Analytics and Reporting
What winning looks like
Clients receive a comprehensive monthly Data Report that reviews content performance in detail and informs strategy for the upcoming month based on what is driving results on their platforms. In addition, clients receive a biannual Social Media Health Check to ensure ongoing optimization, strategic alignment, and long-term platform growth.
What it will take
Monitor platform-native analytics and Metricool for performance insights.
Compile monthly reports including: Follower growth/loss and overall reach, Engagement rate and click-throughs, Top-performing content analysis and why it worked.
Provide actionable recommendations for next-month strategies.
Suggest experiments and format adjustments to optimize growth and engagement.
Develop a Social Media Health Check slide deck every 6 months
